Slideshow Management

Your content within the eScreenz Screensaver is organized into a group of slideshows.  Each slideshow can contain one or more slides.  When working with the eScreenz Screensaver, you will be publishing and unpublishing groups of slides as slideshows.

You can access the slideshow editor by clicking “Slideshows” in the left-hand menu.

Once in the slideshow editor, you can do the following:

  1. Create a new slideshow
  2. View the current status of a slideshow
  3. Edit an existing slideshow
  4. Publish/unpublish slideshows
  5. Change the view of the slideshows (list view, small icons, or large icons)
  6. Filter or search for slideshows (by name or publish state)

Publishing and Unpublishing

Your content within the eScreenz Screensaver is organized into a group of slideshows.  Each slideshow can contain one or more slides.  When working with the eScreenz Screensaver, you will be publishing and unpublishing groups of slides as slideshows.

To publish and eScreenz slideshow, simply find the slideshow within the “Manage Slideshows” page, and click the “Publish” or “Unpublish” button respectively.

Once a slideshow is published, it will automatically be distributed to all eScreenz software configured to receive it.

Creating and Editing Slides

  1. Slideshow commands – Use this section to save, publish, unpublish, and delete the current slideshow
  2. Cancel – Click here to cancel all changes and return to the slideshow list
  3. New Slide – Click here to select a new type of slide to add
  4. Quick Upload Panel – Drag-and-drop images here to quickly create new image slides
  5. Current Slides – View, edit, and delete existing slides within your slideshow
  6. Targeting – Specify which AD groups or devices will receive the slideshow when it has been published

Deleting Slides and Slideshows

To delete a slideshow, click the “Delete” button in the upper right corner of the “Edit Slideshow” page.  Deleting a slideshow will automatically unpublish its contents.  Deleting a slideshow cannot be undone.

To delete an individual slide, click the “Delete” button next to the slide on the “Edit Slideshow” page.  Deleted slides can be restored by clicking the “Restore” button.  Deleted slides will continue to be displayed until the slideshow is next published.
