More than a corporate screen saver and beyond digital signage,
EScreenz™ improves internal communication.
Screen savers as an in-house communication medium? Very few people have given any thought at all to the subject and who could blame them. The screen saver came about as exactly as the name implies: an incidental application that resides within the computer desktop system that during idle moments, changes the screen in order to ‘save the screen’ from burning in the static image that was previously shown.
So the question “is the screen saver the best in-house communication medium ever invented?” probably seems overstatement at best and a bit suspect if examined from a more conventional perspective.

To take the facility’s performance to the next level, Cedars-Sinai used a screen saver to be displayed on every hospital computer featuring images of the “disgusting and striking” bacteria revealed by the cultures. According to administrators, the screen savers helped push compliance to nearly 100%, a level that the facility has sustained ever since (Dubner/Levitt, 9/24*).
